About Me
Hi, Iβm Richard π! If youβre reading this, itβs likely that youβre considering taking the first steps towards making some important changes in your life β¨. I understand that the thought of therapy can often feel daunting, and choosing the right therapist is the first important decision youβll make on this journey. WelcomeβIβm here to make that process smoother for you π±.
β
Iβve always been fascinated by human experience, and this curiosity led me to pursue a degree in psychology π. During my studies, I found myself drawn to the topics of emotion, personality, and mental health π§ , which naturally led me to the field of counselling. I went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling at the University of Manchester π, and have been working within Mental Health ever since.
β
As an NCS-accredited therapist π, I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space π€ where you can talk about any issues you may want to exploreβwhether from the past or present. While support from friends and family is essential, it can also be invaluable to talk to someone objective and professionally trained π¬.
β
If youβre ready to learn more about yourself or need help making sense of your thoughts and feelings πΏ, Iβm here to guide and support you every step of the way.

(2) βRichard is very calm and encouraging. He allows you to talk openly about how you feel, and leaves space to explore those feelings and where they come from, whilst guiding you to a more positive place. He helps you to break things down and gives you tools to use everyday, to help rationalise any negative thought patterns. I have found the sessions really helpful and have noticed a massive difference in how anxious and depressed I feel now.β

(3) βMy first time using a therapist and, after a terrible false start with another therapist on here, I hit the jackpot with Richard. He immediately understood me and my needs and was incredibly helpful in a very short space of time. He is calm and relaxed, lets you talk if you can but also asks probing but considerate questions to aid the conversation when necessary. I couldn't recommend him more highly and am hugely thankful to him for all his help.β
